What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Technique
(EFT) is an epigenetic energy science technique developed by Gary Craig that works with the mind-body energy system to  eliminate all kinds of emotional, mental, physical and spiritual discomfort.

Described as "emotional acupuncture," it is one of the most effective ways to balance the body's energy system that I have experienced.

The underlining premise of Eastern holistic healing, dating back over 5,000 years, is that all physical, mental and emotional problems originate in our ENERGY SYSTEM.
 EFT is rooted in that very principle which states "The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system."

The reknown scientist, Albert Einstein, told us back in the 1920's that everything (including our bodies) is composed of energy.

Quantum Physics today proves that we are made of energy and that our thoughts and emotions, which are energy, form a neural network which impact and creates our world.  We do impact our world and our lives.

So EFT, also called an "emotional version of acupuncture"  (but without needles), stimulates specific points to all the major meridian systems on our body though a gentle fingertip tapping method.  At the same time, while tapping, you are guided to explore, express and release various facets of  "emotional issues" by conscious awareness to allow in new choices.  The unifying glue of this technique is unconditional acceptance of your self.

The beauty of EFT is that ANYONE can learn how to apply it on themselves.

HOW DOES EFT WORK?

EFT is based on the discovery by Dr. Roger Callahan that emotional discomfort is caused by a disruption in the mind/body energy system. Dr. Callahan combined ancient oriental (acupuncture) with modern techniques (kineseology) and developed Thought Field Therapy (TFT). Gary Craig was trained by Dr. Callahan and then streamlined TFT into Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

My Logical Explanation:
1)  Modern Science dictates that all our reactions & manifestations; mental, emotional and physical are connected by neural pathways.
2)  Western Medicine states that "stress" impacts health and well being.
3)  Oriental Medicine states that all disease in the body, first starts in our energy system, then enters the mind/emotions! If not resolved in the  mind/emotions, symptoms appear on the body. Stress defined.
4)  Therefore, if one relieves some of the mental & emotional stress, it follows that pain in the body also will be relieved.

My Spiritual Explanation:
1)  This method effectively unblocks the energy channels and thereby allows more life force energy in rebalance & heal.  Life Force Energy: Chi, Prana, Shakti, Holy Spirit, Grace is all considered aspects of the Universal Source or God/Goddess energy of all religions/spiritual paths.
2) Epigenetic Energy Medicine is now clinically proving the validity of prayer, energy modalities & meditation in heallth and healing.
